Needed our long, steep driveway resurfacing, ditches dug out and stormwater retention pond cleaning up. Toby proposed re-grading the driveway to push water off to the side along its length (rather than relying solely on the swales and ditches that came with the property and which had led to erosion and silt buildup). Toby's crew were highly skilled, well briefed and had the right heavy equipment for the job. At the end of the day they left the place looking way better than when they arrived.

Barkman Excavating did an excellent job replacing my underground drainage pipes. They seeded and put hay down after they leveled the ground that they excavated. I had another problem area which they told me was not necessary to fix at this time.

Working with Tobin Barkman was such a pleasure. He does the job exactly as was promised and was a true professional from start to finish. He’s so good, I’ve used him for 3 separate projects.

Excavated and fixed leak in water main to the house in Tewksbury, and then graded and reseeded the lawn. If this company was publicly traded, I would buy stock. Knowledgeable staff who do what they say they are going to do when then say they are going to do it. I could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.

I had some septic work done and they were very professional and informative! Toby educated me a bit on what is septic safe and what's not as this was my first home with a septic. Cleaned up after themselves and even put hay down. No complaints! Will use again in the future .
