I constantly had to call and follow up on the status of things. Office personal was pretty great though. Hate that my surgeon opened a new practice because now I'm getting charged for my medical records. Never met Dr. Barker.

May 21, 2012 is the day that I was given my life back with a bypass. I have lost from 452 down 268 pounds. His staff and hospital is nothing short of top notch.

My wife had her surgery on Dec 30,2015. Went to remove stitches one week later and was having severe pain in her stomach. Dr. looked confused ordered a blood test in lieu of CT or x-ray. Ended up in ER a few days later. They did an EDG and thought it was an ulcer causing the problem. Went home and ended up in ER again, this time they did the right tests and operated on her again removing a blockage that occurred. Dr Barker did my surgery back in 2008. I was a short 5'2, 273lb rolly poly. I'm officially 8 years post op and still down 128 lbs. He cared about me before and after my weight loss surgery and has changed not just me but my entire families lives for the better,so much so that my own mom had revision surgery with him and my cousin had the sle... read more

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Entire staff and Dr Brewer were all amazing. I am now 4 months post op and not one complaint! Would defiantly not change a thing!

I had my surgery on 6/22/15, and I'm down 95 lbs. Between the surgery and rehab, I no longer use a walker to get around, and down to a cane. I'm excited to ditch that, and go back to work as a medic. Thank you Dr. Brewer. The staff has been wonderful, and I haven't had any complaints.
