We've worked with Dan three times so far since February 2026, and we're very happy with the progress. We have a 75-pound energetic male Golden Retriever with challenging door behavior, leash reactivity, and poor recall. We cannot sing Dan Lan Franco and Bark Busters Walnut Creek's praises any louder. Our dog is like a new dog. Literally -- he changed our dog and our relationship with her in the first 30 minutes of our session. We learned immediately how to communicate with her in a way she understood. No treats needed, no punishment. Just learning how to speak "dog".

We cannot recommend Dan highly enough! We were struggling with a wide range of issues with our two very different dogs—a Red Heeler and a Chihuahua. We initially brought Dan in to help with Brooklyn, our “trouble child” puppy, but we quickly realized how much insight he could also give us into Bronx, our 5-year-old. Bronx has always been an anxious boy, and Dan taught us that it’s okay to let him take his time while giving us practical tools to help him feel more comfortable.
