My husband is alive today because of Dr. Barish Edil. We could have looked all over the world and not found a better surgeon. There were many complications, including a perforated gall bladder the month before having the Whipple. My husband was filled with infection that could very well have killed him. However, Dr. Edil’s expertise and skilled hands cleared out all the infection as well as completed a successful Whipple. Oklahoma is lucky to have Dr. Barish Edil at Stephenson Cancer Center.
