It's a cute store that specializes in lamp shades and a selection of used and vintage lamps dressed up with new shades. 1) time to replace the front door - it's been broken and hard to open for years, 2) prices are laughably expensive but aren't of the quality (in craftsmanship or materials) to warrant the prices. The handiwork is OK, but not exceptional and some of the shades are very old-lady'ish and not in a charming old-school Cape Cod way. Improperly re-modeled and re-wired my vintage lamp ruining it's value.
Barfield’s is the best for beautiful, creative, elegant lamps to complement any space in your home. Uniquely designed and made with the finest craftsmanship, this shop is wonderful! We have purchased several of her lampshades over the years. The service is excellent and Betty has also repaired some of our old heirloom lamps. A treasure in Yarmouthport!
