As a home owner I recently had Barenthin Appraisal hired by a lender to do a refinance of my property. He submitted an incomplete appraisal that was not even close to market, and frankly negligent. I had previous appraisal done 4 months prior that showed a value 25% higher than the appraisal done by Barenthin. The information used as basis for this appraisal was ridiculous and borderline negligent, and the appraiser spent less than 30 minute at the home for the appraisal.
