Absolutely FANTASTIC fish and chips. Got the cod and halibut. Both cooked to perfection. Super crispy, no bitter oil taste, fries were salted perfectly, and coleslaw was delicious. Great service too!
My family and I shared a two piece cod meal. The gentleman that served us at the counter was very friendly and pleasant. Our meal came out hot, crispy and delicious. My five year old son rated it a 100 out of 10! We would visit Bare Bones again the next time we visit Parksville. In his words “It’s super good!”.
Fried, tartar sauce, batter...... fantastic. Fish is way overcooked, texture of dry chicken. Had the halibut.
