Excellent – I always come here when I get bored of just staying in at home. Great music and love the atmosphere.. Great way to get a little stress out of your life form a hard work week.. drinks are flowing and people here are awesome. Good spot to go with friends and let loose!
Why pay cover to get in to a bar – If you want pay cover go to a club. The place is very small, by the time you are in not much is happening. Its your money spend it where you want.

Wish I wore a costume! – Came after work on a friday night (which happened to be halloween). The combination of dj dirty's ecclectic set (dude goes allover the place) and everyone's costumes really made an impression on me. It's MY NEW FAVORITE SPOT! The place is rather small and dancing room gets a little tight , so I would suggest getting there early (there's no cover at a certain time), I had such a good time, everyone looked so good in their costumes that I wish I took the time to get one ready. Oh well, maybe next time.
Small place, great vibe – Barcopa is a surprisingly small place that manages to pack in a full house during weekends. It's a safe bet to get there early because you could wait in line for a while. The drinks are stiff but you'll pay santa monica prices, the dj's usually play an eclectic set of genres but the vibe is what will keep you there.
You get what you pay for – My girls and I went bar hopping on main street last weekend, stopped by Main on Main and didn't fail to dissapoint- "Lame on Main" as my friends and I chanted leaving the place had all the elements of its previous incarnation, sleazy guys, pathetic top 40 music and ugly people. Deep, dark and friendly – This place is known for it's good music and vibe. The drinks are priced and made well complemented by a friendly and attractive looking staff. Hard to see at first but a good time, my friends and I always have our birthdays there and the specialty drinks are to die for.
Warning: Specialty Drinks are Dangerous! – I love going to Barcopa, it's my favorite place on Main St. Although it has a cover charge for the weekends, I would rather pay to get into a bar that has quality music, drinks and people. Places like the Circle Bar or Main on Main don't have the same quality of people, drinks, service or vibe that Barcopa has. Saturday nights are really fun and great for having birthday parties.
