Stay away they will messed up your credit y lowering credit line.
Barclay Bank is a merchant friendly bank that will side with the merchant in a dispute no matter how obvious the lie.. I was a credit card customer for 20 years.. never late, never complained. I had one dispute, not a lot but in spite of overwhelming evidence they sided with the merchant. (Interesting side note, when the merchant realized what they had done they refunded my money… no thanks to Barclay) There are dozens of better banks and cards, drop these guys like a hot rock.
This company is absolutely crooked. I’ve been a customer for about 3 years now, about a month ago I made a payment of $1,000 dollars but it was flagged by my other bank as fraud (which is so fitting for the company) they made a mistake and then after excepting fault tried to hit me with a fee. Every single interaction with this company has been excruciating. Once I pay off this card I will close my account. I can’t wait for the day I don’t ever have to interact with them again
Opening a savings account shouldnt be this complicated and painful. Unfortunately they lost my business. I took my money to another bank.
These companies are absolutely ridiculous. I had an old navy credit card “only” $300 limit. Old navy credit card was transitioning from synchrony bank to Barclays Bank. I called to make my final payment “only” $34. I was told I didn’t need to pay it but I insisted. They didn’t let me pay it and told me it was because my account was going to be closed. Didn’t give reason. Few months later my credit score was dramatically reduced. Barclays Bank reported me for delinquencies on the $34 they wouldn’t let me pay. 60points🤔🍆
