I had such a sweet and relaxed stay here at Barclay. The host truly went out of the way to make the accommodation easy and convenient. The location by the boardwalk, coffee shops, and restaurants was amazing.

We spent an overnight here on July 16th and can't recommend Barclay Cottage Inn. We will look elsewhere for our stays in Virginia Beach. Pros: Location, free parking and price Cons: Electronic code entry may prove challenging, furniture in general area has issues, towels were wet when we arrived, breakfast is continental and minimal, no decaf coffee available, exterior deck repairs not completed, our room had oversized with visible TV wall mount, no sink in dining area ( for liquid disposal and filling water for coffee-pod m... read more

Great time in VB and stay at Barclay Cottage Inn. The rooms were clean and the bed super comfortable. Just blocks from the beach the location is excellent. On-site parking and Chris was a great host. Highly recommend.

Loved staying here so much! Management was soooo quick and accommodating, very polite. Area is amazing, so much to do and easy beach access. Very secure as well. If you stay here, take advantage of the beach carts they provide! They are awesome Only note is that there is only a shared mini fridge in the pantry in the main living area, which makes it harder if you plan on staying an extended period of time and need a place to store food, drinks etc. Hoping for mini fridges in the rooms in the future!
