I moved to NoVA about three years ago so I had to try quite a few barbershops in the area. My hair is pretty difficult to cut since it's so thick and very unmanageable. Found this place after reading great reviews and this barbershop does not disappoint! Been going here ever since. I had a really disappointing experience here. I clearly asked for a taper fade and specifically said not to cut it too short, but the barber did the exact opposite. After the cut, I told her this wasn’t a taper fade at all — it was just a regular short haircut — but she kept insisting, saying “This is what we call a taper fade at our shop.” That honestly shocked me.
