Caryn Waxman and her staff were incredibly helpful when I needed to dissolve my same sex Civil Union. I found it extremely difficult to find an Attorney who understood the logistics of navigating laws regarding same sex Civil Unions and Dissolution of same....particularly when myself and the Defendant live in two different states and the Civil Union took place in yet a 3rd state! Warning! DO NOT choose this Barber & Waxman! They are extremely unprofessional and are trying to rip people off. Lazy staff and they do not have any experiences and knowledge at all. Highly NOT recommended! Red Flag!
Super unprofessional situation with the secretary/answering service. I got a very weird reply that I think was just due to conflict of interest (I used this practice when I divorced so I have a feeling they cannot represent me due to that) but it didn’t follow the lines of a normal reply from a legal practice. Typical responses to my reply would be “we aren’t taking new clients” or “there’s a conflict of interest” but instead they just gave me a really weird and dismissive reply after asking for 10 very intimate questions to... read more
