Jake’s the coldest barber in Texas. Always consistent in the delivery and always made me feel like fam and not a client.
This happened a while ago, but I decided to finally post about it. Haven’t gone there since this incident. I used to come here regularly because the haircuts are actually really good and when they’re focused, they work fast. But the service and professionalism have really gone downhill. Went here for over a year. Tried to give him multiple chances.stopped going because appointments get canceled every single time most of the time same day or hours before. also had to wait over an hour multiple times because the place was locked up and he’s always running late. Also hair cuts are inconsistent some days they are good other days they are not. Probably because he’s on his phone the whole time he’s cutting your hair.
I can only review the booking experience. It was not great. The appointment was cancelled just a few hours prior to the appointment time by Jacob with no explanation and no time to find a new place to go. If you're not available why aren't you blocking out those times in the booking app? I'm a parent of 4 boys and I have been looking for a reliable barber to take them to. Clearly this is not the place.
Because my boyfriend is too nice to leave a bad review, I will. He’s been going here for the past couple months “Jake from Barber Haus” never fails to reschedule literally day of or minutes before. Extremely inconsiderate of others time, my boyfriend has been in time every time he is rescheduled and somehow JAKE still manages to show up late or not at all lol. Then he proceeds to be rude through texts as well??
