Barbara Thompson is an excellent nurse practitioner. She takes her time with each patient, listens and, when needed, refers each to the best specialist, taking distance and location in to account. When I had a gall bladder issue, her & I went thru the gamut trying to figure out my problem. My mother said it was my gall bladder. I literally told Barbara "My mom said..." and she sent me for the required test without question. I have trusted her ever since!
The doctor seems to be very attentive and wants to help you with your health but she is very compassionate and I think her staff takes advantage of her the girl that answers the phone is very defensive and very unprofessional in tending with patients...the doctor will tell you things that are to be done but to get her staff to do them is like waiting for a home loan you'll wait hours in waiting room and you'll have to go back and forth to get your medicine to you because they don't call it in
I have trusted Barbara Thompson from day 1. She has been my provider since I moved to Radcliff in 2012. She is caring, listens to you and will give excellent referrals to the best MD specialists around the for conditions that need more intensive treatments. She is kind and understanding and will give you all the time you need. Her staff are all very wonderful people. I highly recommend her and her associates.
Horrible doctor! Doesn't listen and only thinks about money. Won't even confirm what meds your suppose to be taking without another appointment. Which is a big deal because people could die not knowing what blood pressure medication they're suppose to be taking. The office was very unprofessional and the doctor/nurses wouldn't talk to me about an ethical issue their rules broke. I've never been treated this badly and even other doctors are shocked. Don't go here if you care about your health!
