She retired. There may have been a time when she was an effective therapist but that time was long past. Should have retired sooner.
Went for marriage counseling to save my marriage. She overly focused on my spouse's flaws instead of supporting the marriage and helping me to improve the relationship.

I have been seeing Dr. Ottenhoff for a few years now and she is exceptional. After seeing many therapists throughout my life I have never had the genuine care, empathy, kindness and validation that Barbara has given me. She is a safe haven for patients that need help and support. Highly recommend.
Dr. Ottenhoff is a very compassionate therapist. She listens well and provides insights about myself that I had never considered despite having many therapists in the past.
