Great food and Service Wow! What a great place to get good homestyle food and crabcakes to die for!!! The waitstaff and hosts knows how to get people in and out without long wait. They also will send crabcakes worldwide and during the superbowl served a number of well-known Hollywoods.
Very good Restaurant! Very nice scenary- Love the wrap around porch and ferns! The food is excellent especially the pecan crusted chicken strips and cocnut shrimp. The ranch dressing and Bleu cheese dressings are wonderful!
Just like the others. If you ever see a Barbara Jean's you should pull over and eat. The food and the service are always fantastic. This particular location is beautifully set on the marsh.
Great food, worth the wait We went with friends. They bragged about how good it was, I have to agree the food was great! We did have to wait about 15 - 20 min, but it was worth the wait. Pricing was about average for a sit down meal. Abit noisy, but they were VERY busy, so it is understandable! A definate check it out place!

RecommendedThe food was topped only by the service. The Jalapeno cornbread was out of this world. All I can say is if you leave this place hungry there is something wrong with you! 5 stars
Barbara Jeans has locked their doors. A good fifteen year run but it is over. Very sad for all the regular customers. 😔😔
In the Amelia Island, Florida area this restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were seated in an unoccupied area of the restaurant so felt like we were quickly forgotten. It took a long time to have our order taken, then took forever to get our ticket. Too many outstanding restaurants in the area to waste time eating at this one.
Wonderful Crab cake.
