I just read Barbara's book He Said, She Said, I Said and I was completely blown away by the simple and clear information about how to communicate in a relationship and other issues that couples face. Maybe my problem has been all this time, is that I never grew up knowing what a healthy relationship was. Not to put my own parents down, but Mom and Dad - there are better, loving ways to communicate when things aren't going right or your needs aren't being met. My husband and I went to Barbara for pre-marital sessions.
