I had a great experience of my first visit. She took a thorough history, listened well, and made connections between various childhood symptoms. For example, how allergies, ear infections, orthodonture, nighttime breathing habits, and an aversion to meat might all be related! Fascinating. Barbara was caring and respectful. we LOVE Dr. Erskine! We have been with her for almost 3yrs now, and 2 children! they have improved SOOO much with her help. We had been to other Speech Therapists and we left their facilities because they were not beneficial to my kids needs. Dr. Erskine has helped my kids (1 started when she was 2, now 5. I did my research to find the most qualified Speech Therapist on the Vancouver side when my daughter needed help for an expressive language disorder. And that person was Barbara Erskine. So when my son needed help with his articulation disorder, I knew who to turn to. She is very knowledgeable, has many different therapy "tools" to draw from, can see the needs of the "whole child," and relates really well to children.
