She was very rude and talked to me like I already was a lawyer myself. There's a reason why she's only at three point one stars
Well, I called her for information about a will. She told me she did not do "wills", even though the MetLife website said she did. Here is the bio: "Law, Last Will and Testament, Power Of Attorney, Advance Healthcare Directive, Probate, Trust - No Tax Planning, Miscellaneous Wills And Estates, Bankruptcy". She then referred me to another attorney. Perhaps MetLife needs to update their info about her.
Some of the other reviewers have noticed that Barbara has a low threshold for BS. That worked out very well for us. She represented us in a simple guardianship case and then again years later when it turned into a very complicated and stressful situation. I will give you that her personality is not for everyone. But if you are looking for someone with a lot of compassion and experience with a no-nonsense approach, Barbara is wonderful. I am very grateful for the work she did for our family.
She answered the phone when I called and immediately got me the answer to the question I had which gave me peace of mind. She also explained things in a way I could understand which is appreciated.
I found myself in the need of an attorney for the first time in my life. Barbara patiently explained the legal process to me and kept me updated on the proceedings. She made a very overwhelming situation bearable and ultimately was able to resolve the case with a dismissal. I would highly recommend Barbara!!
