I drive 12 hours one way to go here. That should tell you how good the Dr's are.
We love Barabara Davis. Our youngest was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 9 years old and has been a constant partner in helping us handle and care for them for years.
Are we telling last straw Barbara Davis Center stories? I was a patient there for 20 years. My last straw was being charged as a ‘new patient’. Very exoensive compared to regular visit price, by two doctors two visits in a row. Each doctor pretended I was new on consecutive visits. Do BD Center doctors need more pay? Won’t get it from me. I just go to an MD now and get my ‘scripts. Specialist are pricing themselves out of patients. Most MD’s will write for Diabetes and the care is the same. BD is Overrated. Don’t bother.
