I had a very poor & terrible experience under Barbara's care. I came into her birth center in labor with my 3rd child (the others were birthed elsewhere) and Barbara right away expressed how tired she was from being on the phone with a mother giving her postpartum support. After over a half a day in labor, I went to the hospital and ended up needing a life saving emergency C-section. I deliver here 7.5 yrs ago, and the experience was great! My son was delivered my 2 midwives and a RN. I think their names were Jade and Melicia. Hopefully I'll ne returning soon
Barbara is amazing! Super compassionate and willing to take me as a patient late in my pregnancy (we moved). I had an unexpected premature delivery and Barbara and her staff were incredibly supportive.
Barbara is an extremely good midwife but lately it has been impossible to be seen at an appointment. My February visit was postponed to March and then March appointment was delayed till April. And when finally I didn't get a call from their receptionist about cancellation of my appointment I got my hopes up but...when I got to midwife office today I along with 5 other patients ( some pregnant, some with infants) I was told that " Barbara has just left for hospital and all our appointments are cancelled ".
