An absolute gem of an eatery, tucked away on the second floor of the Kimpton Era Midtown Hotel across from Rockefeller Center. You’re greeted with smiles as you enter—the hostess and waitstaff are super attentive with a light touch. The food is of another order: Chef Rocco’s “Mamma’s Meatballs” were a highlight opener, along with a puréed potato side. We stayed at their hotel and decided to check out Bar Rocco for some drinks on a Thursday night. We were seated almost immediately at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks though they did ask if we had a reservation at first. The bartenders were very professional and made delicious drinks!!
