Had a craving for deviled eggs and found myself here. Ambience is nice with its chandeliers and foliage from the ceilings. The service was good—the bar was packed but a server took me at her table and was lovely. In addition to the eggs, I ordered an old dash which was fantastic, and a crab cake. The eggs were good, just a touch salty. But I finished the whole thing. And the crab cake itself was good, however I don’t think it matched the bed of cold beets it came on. Such a vibey cute spot in park slope. This is where you take a first date or meet up for some drinks with friends. Whatever vibe you’re looking for, Bar Louise will fit. Bartenders and servers are impeccable and the drinks always great - that Lambrusco spritz! No notes.
We go there when we want good food, good service, and a wonderfully relaxing escape from the daily ordinary. We always get it.
