We stayed at the Inn 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 4 times. The room was lovely, and the room service was good. Of the three breakfasts we had there, most of the food was very good. The lobster benedict, biscuits and gravy, waffles and French toast were all excellent. Dinner was also delicious. The only negative was the service. We had two male servers across 4 restaurant visits, and they were the only bad part of the experience.

My husband and I had the absolute best experience here! The rates aren’t cheap, but well worth every penny! The view from our room was stunning. The views around the rest of the premises were the same. The pool was awesome. The food was delicious, and mostly reasonably priced (I say mostly, because the reading room prices were quite expensive in comparison to everywhere else). The staff was incredible! I don’t know if I have ever experienced a friendlier staff. We can’t wait to go back!

One of the finest inns. Our room didn’t have the full views to the water, but we could see some water and the gardens. Their grounds reminded me of a botanical garden. Great location, 7 minute drive to Acadia. Free parking. Definitely go on the walkway overlooking the water while you are there. Breakfast was included and one of my favorites. Don’t miss the cookies at 3:00 and s’mores by the fire pit in the evening. We ate at the Terrace restaurant and the food was great (about the same prices at nice restaurants in Bar Harbo... read more
