Bar Goto is a true Japanese-style bar, known for its meticulous attention to detail. In the summer, it offers exceptional kakigori—delicate, snow-like shaved ice made from pristine clear ice brought in from Japan and shaved with precision using a carefully calibrated machine. The cocktails are equally impressive. One standout is the clarified miso drink, where the savory depth of miso is beautifully offset by subtle notes of caramel sweetness.
It was actually really easy to get seated when we came in. The staff was really friendly and nice. The drinks are very good but it’s a limited menu so keep that in mind!
They seated us very quickly at the bar, even though we didn’t have reservations. We ordered the Japanese whiskey and a couple of cocktails. Everything was amazing. The food, caviar and chips, was fine. My partner really liked the flavor of the chips. Great place!
