I enjoyed the ambiance of Bar Bouy. The bartender was very nice. I enjoyed the housemade strawberry soda that was recommended. I was looking for non alcoholic options. I sampled a few appetizers and the green beans were my favorite.
Our first visit here was absolutely stellar. The Most important greeting when entering an establishment, is the greeter themself. David was so very kind and accommodating as we were not quite sure where we wanted to sit. The bar servers, Henry, Alyssa and Brian were replenishing our waters and were taking care of us with full attention while seated at the bar. They were highly attentive to our needs. Now, the food! Stopped in on the 4th of July for drinks and appetizers and had a great experience. We had the oysters and the tuna skewer, and both were fresh and delicious. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, and it was hard not to order more. Our server, Grant, was really helpful with recommendations and helped create a calm, enjoyable experience. I loved the michelada the female bartender made for me, and my friend really enjoyed her NA cocktail. Looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Richmond!
