I applied to the pro bono program. They rely on snail mail and don't offer email or text message correspondence in 2025... There's no portal to log into or upload anything. I missed their letter and had my application expire. This process is very inaccessible for neurodivergent folks and poor people in general who typically don't have the mental bandwidth to keep up with bureaucracy and short deadlines especially when they're also stressed out about court.
