Founded in the year 2014, Bar 414 is a cocktail bar that honors legendary blues master Robert Johnson who recorded his songs at the historic Gunter Hotel room 414. Here visitors can enjoy live music while sipping on 1920s prohibition- era cocktails and spirits. The bar does not serve food; hence cocktails can be accompanied with bar snacks like baked nuts. The venue is popular with both locals and tourists for its happy hours from Monday to Friday between 4p and 7p.

Decided to stay at the Gunter Hotel specifically for this bar. Only open one night of our trip and we were turned away as they “closed for the night” two hours early.
It’s Thursday night and they closed 2 hours early. We picked this hotel specifically to check out this bar. Super lame.
I used to love coming to this bar, but after tonight,. As a. Couple coming into a bar that has three other guests you might think that you would get at least a smile from the three staff behind the bar. Luckily, the bartender was making a drink for the charming lady, that worked at the hotel, standing behind him, and then totally ignored us as he looked for approval from his obvious superior. I hope both she and he gets to keep their pathetic jobs. So we left sadly no drinks to be had.
One of the nicer hotel bars I've been in. Large selection and reasonable prices.
Bar 414 has a 4.5 star rating with 225 reviews.
Bar 414 is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
