2 stars given because there was an occasional helpful nurse. My husband went into the ER with chest pain and chest pressure. He was immediately sent back due to that. However, after running tests they ruled out heart attack and they decided to admit him to be safe. He got there at 10pm, by 1am they said he was being admitted to a room. They left him to sit in the stretcher sized bed for 12 hours. SARAH The SWEET LADY WHO CHECKED ME IN WAS AN ANGEL 9-10-2025 SHE WAS EXTREMELY KIND HEARTED CARED ABOUT MY CONDITION. I am brand new to Florida , I was born and raised in Northern California but recently made the move to Florida 2 months ago. I have been seen twice at this emergency room. Both times I was treated with respect and dignity and the doctors and staff have been very thorough and caring. Best hospital than the California ER that I’m used to.

I would say you have better chances at good health care anywhere else. The grievances are long so buckle up. You'll have long wait times to get sent back, and usually they send back those who could have gone to an urgent care first INSTEAD of someone suffering from heart problems or breathing problems. You get sent back finally and sometimes you’ll be charged for a full room even if you’re treated in a hallway where all your medical history and information is aired out to everyone. HIPPA who? I went into the ER at Baptist clay fleming island around 1215am I advised at check in that I am 8 months pregnant and have been going through oncology for a preexisting lump in my forearm with an inflamed epitrochlear lymph node. I also advised the reason I came into the ER was a lump appeared earlier today on my wrist and had been causing throbbing pain and had increased in size throughout the day.
