Outstanding service as soon as I entered the clinic. From the welcoming front staff, to the very sweet and thorough Medical Assistant (I wish I wrote down her name but it begins with 'Ke'), and meeting the wonderful Dr. Ann Payne-Johnson. Tried to get appointment with dr ross. since I moved on this side of town and my other primary Dr was on 98 and Fairfield, was told that they didn't accept Medicare and champ VA! I said whaàat!!! She then said Dr. Ross is NOT accepting NEW patients with my insurance!!! although the website said did say she was taking new patients. Absolutely horrible experience. Doesn't call you back and won't return pharmacy calls. I even went back to the office, and they assured me they would call in my prescriptions never did. Pharmacy tried to contact them several times and they never called them back.
I called on August 15 to schedule a new patient appointment for my mom on October 2. During scheduling, I was told they accept Ambetter Health and was even asked to change my mom's PCP to Dr. Ross, which we did. I called again on October 1 to confirm and was told to arrive 30 minutes early. When we arrived on October 2 at 8:30 am, the office said Dr. Ross does not accept Ambetter and refused to see my mom.
