Went to see the cardiologist and the front desk lady was really nice, even went through the extra work of figuring out how to get me a work note because she hadn’t done it before. Had to get an EKG done and the nurse got it done in about 3 minutes flat. The cardiologist was extremely pleasant, he talked me through everything to make sure I understood what was truly going on and was very understanding for my questions. Overall a very great and welcoming place.
The doctor seems okay, but my goodness the Nutritionist. She reminds me of the woman "Doris Grossman" from the 90's TV cartoon the "Critic." The entire time she kept telling me she'd been "doing this Nutritionist gig way too long," and all I could think was, "Yep Lady, you have." She kept telling me that you can't do low carb because you're depriving your body of carbohydrates which it needs, and she kept telling me horror story after horror story of people coming into her office on a low carb diet on death's doorstep but TH... read more
