August 1989, Physical Therapist Mark Lavendecker worked with me fight Paralysis on the right side of my body. I had head injury caused by a head on collision. Mark, at the 1st of my fight to walking again, worked with me morning and afternoon as an in patirnt. Months went by. I became an outside patient with Physical Therapist Peggy Wilson. I had a friend in BRI twice. Every time I was there the staff were very attentive, and very friendly. I was impressed by the schedule of physical and occupational therapy on her schedule. This place is an outlier in the for profit rehab business. They really do provide a great rehab. What did they do with all the mean staff??? Are they locked in the basement? Every one I met there was so pleasant and willing to go that extra mile to make the patient happy. I’m impressed

First off I would like to say that Dr. Davila and the therapists downstairs are wonderful and caring. They do their best to make sure the pts are able to do as much as possible before they go home. On the floor is much different. Very little PT/OT/ST is continued on the floor by staff. They don’t assist with bathing or dental hygiene. My father went at least 4 days with no bath or brushing his teeth. There was a snow storm, I was unable to be there. Call lights are answered but nobody comes.
