The only reason I'm not giving this ER just 1 star is because of a very over-worked nurse who did her best to be helpful, including stepping in to order a test that a doctor was supposed to have ordered. Sitting in the ER waiting room for 2 1/2 hours, followed by hanging out alone in an ER exam room for 4 hours -- absolutely one of the worst experiences of my life. This was the absolute worst experience in any type of medical related capacity I've ever seen. I took my wife to the ER, she had fell and hurt her back. She was in SEVERE pain. We waited 4 hours with her barely being able to handle sitting there while they called back people who were clearly not in any pain or dire needs. They even had a coworker come in who had hurt her foot and she wanted maybe 15 minutes and got called back ahead of us. Like seriously? The worst situation possible for older people! I took my dad who was unresponsive around 9:45 am when we arrived. Even while unresponsive we had to sit in the waiting room for hours! He started responding a little bit after that. Went through triage and waited another hour!!! I am watching him have tremors and not being himself we are still sitting in the emergency room as we speak!!! I have talked to the nurse and doctor twice! But was told he looks fine! I know every situation isn't perfect in life. I came in with my mother with a heart rate of 47. She has multiple things going on and with her and they left her in waitingarea for hours 3 hrs Well, to let everyone know. My Beautiful mother didn't make it. With the pictures that I took and the help of other doctors opinions i will be contacting a Lawyer for this situation. I can't say what happened now. NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. It is currently 6:19 pm and i Checked my mom in at 4:28pm with sudden bulging temple veins, massive migraine, down neck, pain in shoulder after traveling 16 hour on a train to this raggedy state. ONE HOUR LATER AND NO D-DIMER TEST. I've asked 4 different medical staff about stroke protocol . NO URGENCY WHAT SO EVER............still waiting
