We recently moved to Heber and have had to use the ER. It has been such a bad experience that at this point I would rather risk death than deal with the humiliation you feel there. I had a previous stroke (diagnosed by the mayo clinic). I went in with the worst headache for the Dr to look at me and tell me there is absolutely nothing on my scan; not even a stroke. I came in because I was up all night with a fever & felt dehydrated. I’ve had bronchitis for 4 weeks and just found out that I have Covid . The doctor in the ER comes into my room & I explained to him what was going on . I had a miscarriage a couple years ago...it was so hard and painful! Thought i was having another one waiting for 7 hours still couldn't get seen...went back the next day and was seen by Dr. KOHN I think was his name...he was very thorough!!! The BEST Doctor I have ever seen!! I'm so thankful to him for the care he provided! I wish he could be my primary doctor...he was amazing!!!

This was my first time here, and it seems like this ER is always at full capacity. My room was right next to the nurses’ station, and they left my door open the entire time, which felt odd and unprofessional. I overheard a nurse complaining about others leaving piles of needles out instead of properly disposing of them. At one point, the doctor was arguing with the nurses answering the phones, and the nurse mentioned that doctors only want to talk to other doctors. Definitely understaffed.
