Parking just SUCKs at this supposedly perfect hospital! I am appalled that parking has NOT been approved for the poor outpatient in many years. I had to walk today to the hospital from Breckinridge lane with severe back pain and stroke conditions to meet my 96 year old in wound care! Ridiculous! But hey that’s the Baptist way! You need MORE parking money hungry Baptist!
Be VERY selective and particular about the surgeon you choose! One of Baptist’s surgeons (Dr. Patricia Figert) is older (in her 50’s) and still has strong preferences for the old-school, pre-op protocol of ordering invasive and infection causing bladder catheters after patients have been anesthetized. Most surgeons no longer expose patients to that indignity.
