I really wanted to like this dental office, gave it several tries over the past few years but they just aren't very good. There have been a few issues but I was still open to going to them until today. I went in for a cleaning and this hygienist was beyond terrible. My children were patients here for several years and we loved the warm and friendly staff. Today one of the hygienist decided to berate me about being late in front of my kids. It was very unkind and unprofessional behavior. I called to let them know ahead of time so there was no need for her condescending tone. It was not patient centered care. Me and my wife have been going to Baptist Family Dental for several years now. I've been blessed with hardly requiring any work to be done, just cleanings. Honestly, I do not take good care of my teeth, though my favorite doc there does sternly remind me every time to brush and floss better. He is right though. My wife on the other hand requires more care and honestly this is the first office where she has actually felt one hundred percent comfortable going to. That says ALOT! Absolutely horrible! My husband came for a cleaning. We asked if they were in network with our insurance plan, they assured us that they were. After receiving his cleaning, we received a bill for over $400. I called and spoke with Jennifer (after multiple attempts to get in touch with anyone) and she said she didn’t know who would say they were in network with our insurance, because they only work with 1 insurance company.
