We went there for the first time, the food was so delicious,kaitlyn the server was amazing.drink was so good. Loved it
Met some friends for lunch at Bao & Spices today. They have a great menu with excellent execution. The Spicy poached fish was excellent. The red oil dumpling appetizer has an amazing sauce. Everything we ordered was great and the serving sizes were generous.
What a surprise it was to stumble into this hidden gem. The absolute star of the night was the Crispy Shrimp Bao with soup inside, omg that was delicious! I also loved their Peking Duck and got a mix of bao and pancakes on the side. The complimentary duck soup that accompanied it was spectacular on the rainy night we dined in. We loved the food and the atmosphere and the hosts were attentive
One of the best XLB in the city! Perfect skin thickness, not too sticky, LOTS of soup - great flavor broth, well seasoned pork filling. Also good size dumplings - bigger than the DTF ones. Spicy chicken and cold noodles were also on point! The one thing i can not recommend (contrary to many other on Beli / Google maps) is the peking duck. That was underwhelming. The skin could be crispier, the meat could be juicier and more flavorful.
