Had a positive 28 day treatment for substance abuse and mental health. Took recommendations after treatment to continue into an after care program in the banyan network. The two weeks in a financial officer called my wife and said we owed 7000 for the aftercare program. I was dumbfounded as the 28 day stay required no out of pocket expense. How can you have this fancy center, where patients pay at least $1,500 PER DAY, and not have a wchr accessible van?? How? Then a patient checks out because they cannot be accommodated, as they are handicapped, and they don't offer an Uber ride back to where they were picked up by Uber? Were they picked up because of the anticipated $$$$$$$$$, and basically left to be on the street when the money train was stopped? Do they really care about the wellbeing of the patient or is it about the money. Lots of money. Just wow!
