Best place for fried chicken in town. Period. I know the chicken is the star BUT PLEASEEE, PLEASEEE DO NOT SKIP THE ROASTED CAULIFLOWER. It has a unique seasoning with a little spice and it has me in a chokehold. Single best cauliflower I have ever had at a restaurant. WOW. House mule was okay too. I got the garlic chicken and it was 10/10 but THE FREAKIG CAULIFLOWER ugh. Divine. Kudos to the chef.
We had dinner Thursday night 4/9 and received wonderful service from all employees: Blair was incredibly pleasant to speak with on the phone about a late arrival to our reservation, the hostess that sat us was lovely, and our bartenders/servers we interacted with were attentive and knowledgeable. Super cool place, amazing chicken and great service. Perfect late night treat.
Overall Bantam was solid. We had the chicken sandwich and the golden chicken. The portions were great! We also had a great waitress. My only complaints were the parm fries. They just put a ton of shredded parm on top of the fries like it’s a slab on a burger and the cheese wasn’t even melted. They would be much better if the cheese was applied right out of the fryer and they actually mixed it into the fries. The tables are also a little cozy which isn’t a problem but worth noting
Friday night reservation was the right choice. Excellent food, inventive cocktails!
