Revising my previous comments from Jan 4, 2025 - the venue was nice. Nice facility, Clean bathrooms, good lighting, nicely set tables, etc. The problem was with the caterer, which was not connected with the Banquet & Conference Center. This was the choice of our group and hopefully a teachable moment from the feedback provided by many of our members. Again, not the fault of the venue, apologies for any misunderstanding or negative rating.
Let's see...300 people jammed in on top of each other. Wholly inadequate serving. In under two hours, ran out of food to serve everyone our meal. Ran out of salad dressing, potatoes, green beans, butter for the rolls. Ran out of (very simple) drinks (like tea and lemonaide). Honestly, our own volunteers have done better at planning and serving in an off-grid location. These people are absolutely amateurs- go someplace else!
