It’s a cool little adventure with lots of historical information provided by the knowledgeable guides. The people were really nice both on the boat and on the island. The only real disappointment was that there isn’t much Bannerman Castle left to see on the Bannerman Castle tour. Most of it has fallen down.
It was an interesting visit if you're into local lore, but I wouldn't recommend it very highly
Just saw Gremlins on the island- such a great time! The J-Team got us to the island safely and had some awesome trivia to share. The island itself is beautiful and well maintained. The movie was a great pick, and they had everything we needed for snacking! Also the lecture at the end was really wonderful, so engaging and informative. Can’t wait to come back!
My wife and I did the cruise and tour this Saturday @ 10am - Captain J and First Mate J were entertaining and efficient - seeing many of the hills and mountains that we've hiked from the river was very cool. Our tour guide Tara was great - engaging and informative, and quite a singer as well. Heads up - you have plenty of time to explore the island on your own and experience the wonderful views from different points. The House was nice to see and go inside.
