I am so grateful for the doctors, nurses and staff at this facility. They all continue to do the best job possible before and now after my transplant. I can't imagine my care through any one else through this process. Thank you Dr. Wong and my entire transplant team!
It took 2.5 months to see the doctor after I was referred here. Then, I am doing 2 scans, and waiting 6 more weeks to see the doctor again. 4 months to see a doctor with an ongoing health problem that is not getting better. What business makes their customers wait 4 months for service. Now, my employer insurance has ended and I need to get Cobra, which will put me in a very hard financial situation. Transferred from banner payson at 12:30 am took 8 hours for them to do this to desert sam in mesa. desert sam at midnight, taken to banner heart at midnight. Put into a shared room, which means you share bathroom etc. I'm here to get a heart transplant evaluation. Not to have a room mate yelling constantly for a nurse requesting more pain meds, need rest, not aggravation. Sorry...not impressed at this point. Have to wait and see if things get better.
