Been here since midnight for testicular torsion and have yet to see my nurse. Doctor came in and all but the nurse is sitting outside my room talking about signs of autism among themselves anmd their coworkers extremely loudly. I have had an empty IV for 2.5 hours plus. Rooms are unkempt and nasty. There are boots from the previous patient sitting outside my door along with their bloody clothing that has been there since I got here over 4 hours ago. Went to banner er as recommended by my optometrist because my imaging indicated pressure in my head and feared it could be tumors, optometrist asked me to get an MRI. Spent 6hrs at banner total, doctors treated me like a drug seeker even though all I wanted was an MRI (and had the paperwork from the optometrist indicating the problem and request), when a doctor questioned me they put me in a room with heavy machinery banging behind my head while I had migraines, another doctor scrapped my ear canal making it bleed because sh... read more
Terrible experience in the ER at Banner University. Brought my husband in for profuse bleeding on his foot. He has neuropathy and couldn't tell how bad it was. They said he cut into his arterial vein. Been waiting for hours in a dirty waiting room. Triage bandaged up his foot but it has soaked through again and we are still waiting. They keep calling people back 3-4 times and just send them back to the waiting room. Think it's time to finish with Banner
