Raiynie our nurse in Patient Observation on Floor 3 was outstanding. When my husband was discharged, she actually walked my husband to the pharmacy to make sure he got his prescription to take home. Since I wasn't available at discharge to pick him up (we live really far away), he didn't have his wallet so she actually paid for his prescription out of her own money!
My husband had surgery here and 2 hours after surgery they said he was doing great and discharging him, when usually you stay over night. He was not feeling great he was nauseous and dizzy but still kicked him out with no instructions of what to do. We were applying ice when you should do that the first 48-72 hrs then do heat but we wouldn't know because we weren't told. We ended back up at the hospital a few days later and apparently no one likes to work on the weekends because our meds still haven't been sent in, we had to... read more
Hospital staff were awesome, very thoughtful
My mother was held against her will after my sister forged my signature on a petition. What disgusts me most is that the forged signature was apparently the only thing that finally resulted in anyone taking decisive action. When my mother voluntarily goes to the hospital asking for help, she is repeatedly told that her problems are someone else's responsibility.
