Long wait times. Up to an hour and a half before you get a room. Staff is cold and nonchalant. Poor attitudes from intake to nurses and doctors. I had severe abdominal pain. I was there for for 4 hours . The nurse decided to put my IV in the top of my forearm dumbest place I've ever seen a nurse put an IV and she blew my vein. The doctor offered no medicine for pain just gave me nauseous medication and ivy. When to dignity health received much better care. This er isn't worth your time and pain .
A visit to the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center Emergency Room in Surprise, Arizona left us deeply disappointed and frankly, appalled. The lack of urgency and compassion displayed by the staff was truly shocking, making an already stressful situation even worse. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that the concept of "emergency" seemed lost on the staff. Great ER with great staffs
Melissa from the ER got sended straight from heaven to earth, as a beautiful angel, to help God's children in the ER with their needs. Melissa was soooo nice and she made me feel very comfortable (in my pain and difficult situation). She explained every step with a smile on her face and made sure, I am okay. It was such a blessing to get treated by Melissa. While Melissa had to safe other lifes (I saw her runnig around in the back), her wonderful coworker Philip took over. The nurse at CT scan who genuinely understood and took the opportunity to speak up for me I thank you truly. I don't remember your name but thank you for treating me like a person. August 4th 5ish p.m. . They treated me like a drug addict even though I was there 5 days post total disconnect replacement surgery. Trying to figure out what the lump in my neck was.
