Worst banking experience ever. I got my builders loan thru Banksouth when I built my house. The loan officer was less then honest. I had to get three different home appraisals during the build and when selling my old house. The appraiser is supposed to be picked from a pool of appraisers, they sent the same appraiser three times, which should never happen, the appraisals were inaccurate. Would never use this mortgage company for a home or builders loan.

During the year in building my new home, Teresa Downey was instrumental in guiding me through the financial side of my new home. Anne is very knowledgeable and great at looking at the big picture to keep your costs at a minimum! Highly recommend her for great smart and caring service!! She got us a great rate in a time when the rates are so high and made our closing happen quickly and seamlessly. She stayed on top of all the things that needed to be taken care of in order to be able to move quickly. She and her team were absolutely amazing!!!
