Dr. Banker is a very dedicated doctor. My husband and I have been with him since 2017. He is very thorough, concerned, and deeply helpful, even with issues that are mysterious. We are very grateful for finding him and his entire staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Banker since I moved here in 1981. I have always been very happy with the care I have received from him. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with my medical welfare. He listens carefully to all my particular concerns at each visit. His advice has always been right on for any ailment I am seeing him for at any particular visit.
Failed to diagnose Cushing's Disease. In response to consult for severe (3 hr/night) insomnia and weight gain, he gave me handouts on sleep hygiene and the DASH Diet. I referred myself for the testing that was positive for Cushing's. He also refused to prescribe sleep medication that is approved for long term use (sleep hygiene fixes everything). When I told him I couldn't tolerate synthroid and asked for natural thyroid, he offered only more synthroid. Haven't seen him since.
