Been banking here for about a month had a problem with how they handle larger checks an i went in 2 different times in one day an asked the same question an i couldnt even get my question answered. Not happy with the bank at all!!!!!!!!
We took out a primary mortgage and later a secondary mortgage with SNB. We were happy with the process both times and were told the loans wouldn't be sold. Of course they were a couple of years later, to two different banks, both out of state. This wasn't a big deal until now that we have an insurance claim and have to send checks reimbursement checks through the mail to get funds released. Have been with this bank for almost 20 years, and if you do just routine bank things, write checks, make deposits, they're generally fine. But in the new digital age, they haven't grown along with it. Website, online banking, and the services and support that go along with it all feel dated and underwhelming. It also doesn't feel like "Stillwater's" Bank anymore. I'll probably be moving to a more digital focused bank experience soon, but Simmons is fine for anyone that just does regular banking, and isn't looking for a perso... read more
