BMO is a wonderful bank. I have absolutely no complaints about banking with BMO. In fact, when someone tried to say I had committed fraud and stole their account information to send myself money, they helped assist me with fighting the allegations and walked me through every step of keeping my banking ability with them! Every time I enter the bank, the staff on hand is curteous, kind and makes me feel as though they care. They listen to my concerns and assist me with the utmost knowledge and respect. Withdrew money from the ATM. A 5 dollar bill came out of it mixed in with the 20's put me 15 short. Bank on Hubbell said that it had to appear in there by mistake. After investigation there is no way a 5 was in their ATM and they are taking the 15 back out of my account. Its only $15 but it is robbery. A mistake is a mistake but to not admit it and deny it is not okay.
Unprofessional customer service for a Bank and teller wanted to make cashing a BMO Cashiers check a long wait , because “you’re not a BMO customer”. She seemed to make a bigger deal than necessary that I’m not a BMO account holder. I didn’t care about the $10 fee. It doesn’t take 15 minutes to clear a check issued by the bank itself. I don’t know if Teller Veronica is new, has management doing high pressure account opening tactics on staff, or what. It’s not weird for a person with ID to cash a check, not at all.
