I cancelled all my business and personal accounts with this bank and switched them to UMB who is an honest and ethical bank. I highly suggest you do the same.
After 4 minutes of menu chasing I finally had an actual human answer my call, although the accent barrier made the conversation difficult. My original question was never answered although I think I got my situation resolved - after another 11 minutes of back and forth. Time will tell. Please, please - make your phone menus more user friendly and put someone on customer service who is easier to understand. Your customers would greatly appreciate it!
There is a process that I do every 6 weeks or so, going to the BMO nearer to my house. I have money taken from a credit card and deposited into my sisters BMO checking account. At this bank, it takes 5-8 minutes. I needed to do the same, but not near the usual bank, so I stopped in here (Holly Street). The was only one person at the counter, a little dweeb with the initials MH. I had to explain to him what I wanted to accomplish - 3 - times! After many years of banking, I closed the account and switched banks. I was hoping to get some help from the branch manager to correct an error and her total lack of customer service and rudeness made the issue so much worse so I ended closing multiple accounts. I was stunned by how mean she was.
I just did my first international wire transfer to Serbia. This is probably not a common thing for most people or businesses. I went to one bank and had to leave because they didn't know how to do it they couldn't answer my questions so I found the highest ranked Bank of the West on my side of town and they delivered. Well done! I'll be coming back.
